Duplex Industrial water softener is the central water softener system which carries out the water softening for industrial appliances. Its preventing the formation and growth of limescale, thus extends the lifetime of Industrial appliances.
DUPLEX water softener system for Continuous operation is design for using continuously 24 hours a day. This water softener system also consists two main units; the resin columns and brine tanks. But here more resin columns are necessary to ensuring the continuous supply of soft water, while the rest (brine tank holds the sale) which required for regenerates of the ion exchange resin.
The principle of the water softener:
The ion-exchange water softeners using an ion exchange resin organic compound technology which dissolved calcium and magnesium ions in the water and replaced by sodium ions. With this technology, the solution is maintained and water cannot precipitate hardness minerals under any circumstances.
All custom made models have four distinct cycles of operations:
Backwash – hydraulic cleaning; up-flow
Slow rinse – displaces residual brine; down-flow
Fast rinse – prepares softening resin for service cycle; down-flow.
