Full Desalination - Industrial Reverse Osmosis Plant with Automatic Operation
The main element of a reverse osmosis desalination equipment is the osmosis membrane of 0.0001 micron filtration fineness, which is able to remove almost all the solute content (bacteria, mineral materials, etc.) from the water. During the procedure the osmosis membrane plays the main role. The essence of the technology is that high-pressure water is introduced into the osmosis membrane that breaks water into permeate (purified water) and concentrate (waste water).
Nowadays, industrial water treatment systems based on the principle of reverse osmosis which can almost replace previously used of ion exchange desalination. In contrast to ion exchange desalination; the major advantage of reverse osmosis equipment is to be environment friendly. With reverse osmosis technology, water conductivity can be reduced to below 10μS/cm. If this value is not sufficient, than it can be reduced as low as 1μS/cm with water post-treatment equipment, so practically distilled water quality can be produced.
Mosthly combine with mixed bed resin, when requires 0 microsiemens water, these compact Industrial RO systems use high automatic efficiency with S.S. membrane housings and combine with sensors. This product is used in applications such as water stores, hospitals, labortories, humidification, misting, and a wide variety of other commercial applications.
It is very important to pretreat the water before it reaches the osmosis membrane due to its hardness. The iron and chlorine contents can damage or shorten the lifetime of the membrane. Therefore, water softener, iron remover, activated carbon and chlorine filters must be installed before the reverse osmosis membrane for getting the economical and efficient operation of the system. Furthermore, the whole system has to be maintained properly. Regular maintenance is inevitable and due every 3, 6, or 12 months depending on the usage of the system and the quality of the water to be treated.
